Prices For Wood Floor Fitting
- Stick down solid wood - £35.00m2
- Secret nail solid wood - £25.00m2
- Engineered and Laminate wood - £20.00m2
- Skirting - £8 per linear metre
- Steps - £25 per step
Prices include laying of the floor, any preparation work, laying of underlay, cutting of doors and fitting of beading and bars. Any PVA glue, porter nails and filler required during the installation is also included in the price. Glue and sealant for stick down solid wood installation must be provided by the customer.
It is recommended that room sizes are checked prior to booking your wood floor fitting so that we can give you an accurate price. Our fitters will verify all room sizes with you present prior to starting work for an exact pricing. We require a 10% deposit to secure your fitting date. The balance will then be collected after wood floor fitting is complete.
Extras
There will be an extra charge for any plywood needed to even out an uneven sub wood floor prior to installation. This will be discussed and agreed before wood floor fitting takes place.
Other extras include:
- Moving of furniture - £100 per room
- Uplift of old flooring - £50 per room
- Disposal of old flooring - £6 per metre square
(Due to landfill tax we must charge for disposal of any old wood flooring).
Please note it is your responsibility to make sure your sub floor is the correct condition to lay on. If our fitter feels that your sub floor is in to poor a condition to lay on he will recommend how to get it amended.
We will not be held responsible for any movement in boards as a result of damp. This should be checked out by a qualified surveyor prior to wood floor fitting.
All rooms must be completely cleared before the fitters arrive unless it has been agreed the fitters will move furniture. If the fitters are required to move furniture we accept no responsibility for any damage that may be caused to walls, doors etc as a result of our wood floor fitting service.
